Arts Walk at Catholic University of America
Provided architectural design services for the conceptual design and Planned Unit Development Application for a mixed use development. The site is located adjacent to the Brookland / Catholic University Metro Station and is part of a five block mixed use redevelopment of the Catholic University South Campus. The central feature of the Arts Walk is a new pedestrian street that is an extension of 8th Street NE between Monroe Street and the Michigan Avenue viaduct. Ground level artist studios and retail space open on to the new pedestrian street, and a new public piazza is situated at the north end of the Arts Walk. Program consists of below grade parking, ground level retail, artist’s studios, and upper level rental housing.

Capitol Hill Rowhouse
Design renovations and addition to a 740 square foot semi-detached rowhouse in the Capitol Hill Historic District. Obtained necessary approvals from the Historic Preservation Review Board and the Board of Zoning Adjustment. The front façade was renovated to restore window openings to the original sizes and increase light in the front of the home. The open floor plan, increased natural light and view through to the new courtyard garden give the compact home ample space and connection to nature. A new 500 square foot rear addition contains a ground floor living room, second floor bedroom and a green roof and terrace.

Arts Flex Space Building of Catholic University of America
Provided architectural design services for the conceptual design and Planned Unit Development Application. The site is part of a five block mixed use redevelopment of the Catholic University South Campus. Program consists of approximately 3,000 square feet of open, flexible interior space plus a small catering kitchen and restrooms, to be used for performances, exhibits and meeting space.

Garden Plaza
Maurice Walters Architect provided conceptual design service for renovations to the existing office building. The site is located in downtown Bethesda, Maryland at the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Moorland Avenue. The proposed facade renovations will give the existing building a prominent stature within the core of downtown Bethesda and modernize and improve the ground floor entrance and public spaces.

Arbor Place
Maurice Walters Architect provided urban design and architectural design services for the conceptual design and Planned Unit Development Application for a mixed use development. The site is located in northeast Washington DC at the intersection of New York Avenue and Bladensburg Road, and would serve as a prominent gateway into the Nation's Capital.The project consists of 69,000 sf of retail space along New York Avenue, 1,400 multi-family residential units, a daycare center, health club, retail and residential parking, and amenites. A network of three internal streets is introduced to the 16 acre site creating a pedestrian friendly, interconnected neighborhood.
