Maurice Walters, AIA, LEED AP

Mr. Walters, with expertise in the design and entitlement of large scale urban mixed-use projects, has over thirty years of experience on projects with a wide range of size, scale and typology in the United State and abroad. Mr. Walters earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Cheek has a strong background in design/entitlement, design development, construction administration, as well as LEED coordination. He has worked on a wide range of projects including retail, large mixed-use developments, data centers, and corporate headquarters.  Mr. Cheek earned a Professional Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University, and is a licensed architect in the District of Columbia.

Ms. Coen has a background in design development and construction documentation, as well as BIM and LEED coordination. She has worked on master plans, new construction and renovation projects around the world, ranging from government facilities to cultural centers to university buildings. Ms. Coen earned a Professional Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Cornell University and is a licensed architect in the State of Maryland.

Ms. Gulick has a background in design/entitlement, design development, construction administration, as well as BIM and LEED coordination. She has experience in a diverse scale of multi-family residential and mixed-use development. While in school, she also studied furniture design and construction. Ms. Gulick earned a Professional Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Kong joined Maurice Walters Architect, Inc. after working primarily on government preservation projects located on the National Mall in Washington, DC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Kong is a licensed architect in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Quezada is an architectural associate withexperience in design development and construction administration. He also has a background in various fields including: computer modeling & rendering, graphics, and model creation. Mr. Quezada earned a Professional Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
