Principal
Tyng Gulick, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Tyng believes a city reveals itself when you wander its streets, get lost in its neighborhoods, and listen to the rhythms of its everyday life. Since 2014, she has been with Maurice Walters Architect, where she leads multifamily housing and mixed-use projects throughout the Washington, DC region. Her work bridges design, craft, and construction, grounded in the belief that high-quality design lives at the intersection of purpose and place.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, she holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in furniture design and construction. With a hands-on, pragmatic approach, Tyng guides projects from early concept and entitlement through design development and construction, ensuring vision and execution align seamlessly. Her focus on thoughtful detailing and a collaborative process fosters spaces that endure and engage the communities they serve.
When she is not in the studio, Tyng can often be found exploring Rock Creek Park with her dog, working on home renovation projects, or hunting for antiques.
