A modern multi-story building made of red brick with large black-framed windows and decorative arches. People are walking on the sidewalk, and there are cars parked and driving on the street in front of the building. The sky is partly cloudy.

18 Utica St. at Colgate University

Hamilton, NY

18-22 Utica is a carefully planned mixed-use development in Hamilton, NY, designed to provide faculty and workforce housing while blending seamlessly with the town’s historic and architectural character. In close collaboration with Colgate University, the building's brick industrial façade reflects Hamilton’s architectural heritage, and a setback on the top floor along Utica Street enhances its integration with the surrounding streetscape.

The development includes 41 residential rental apartments, a public courtyard, and space for The HUB, a local business development group. It also offers retail and commercial spaces, adding value to the community. Currently under construction, 18-22 Utica is set to be completed in early 2026.
