Chern Chiat Kong, RA

Architect
Mr. Kong joined Maurice Walters Architect, Inc. after working primarily on government preservation projects located on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Chern earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the National University of Singapore and Master of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. He is a registered architect in the District of Columbia and a LEED AP.

Prior to joining Maurice Walters Architect, he focused on preservation projects involving landmark buildings on the National Mall in Washington DC. As an architect for the University of Maryland Department of Residential Facilities, he upgraded residential and campus buildings to improve occupants’ living and learning experiences.

Chern is motivated by the power of architecture to enrich the human experience by fostering harmony,inspiration and well-being.
